Define all the terms that will be used in the text
Use active constructions; say “the battery starts the engine” instead “the engine was started by the battery”
Utilize present tense e.g. “the battery starts the engine” instead of “the battery will…..”
Do not assess yourself on the methods or results
Make sure all borrowed information is properly referenced
Make sure data and information is accurate
Make sure the dissertation is logically arranged.
